Men in Black

Musical director - Margot Lampkin

The Men in Black are a 24-voice men's group. Their repertoire includes gospel, music theatre, folk songs, and songs from around the world.

Margot Lampkin is a musical director and conductor, as well as a trained soprano and pianist. Margot was the choral director of the 1995 Hobart production of Les Misérables, and musical director and conductor of the pit in Pirates of Penzance, 42nd Street, For Me and My Girl etc.

Program

The program will include:
  • Gendarmes' Duet from Geneviève al Brabant (Offenbach) (choreographed)
  • Chorus of the Jewish Slaves from Nabucco (Verdi)
  • In the depths of the temple from Pearl Fishers (Bizet)
  • Anthem from Chess
  • Impossible Dream from Man of la Mancha
  • Bring him home, Les Misérables
  • Sweet Caroline (Neil Diamond)
